I’ve had this pantsuit for a quite some time now. My mom passed it down to me (aka I begged for it) and for a while I couldn’t fit it but was set on not letting it go. I tried it on after my last closet purge and it finally fit! *does two step* This really brought me joy and I was so hype to style it.
So why did I choose a white pantsuit as an item for my Holiday Style Guide? It's unexpected, breaks all the rules (no white after Labor Day is no longer a thing; winter white is though), and gives off serious androgynous vibes. Am I right? This one is for all of my ladies that love to dress up but aren’t fond of the typical dresses and skirts. You still want a formal-esque look but want to be comfortable in your usual get up. I understand and I feel you. I love pants and will quickly grab a pair before I even think about putting a dress on.
I paired the pantsuit with a silk paisley printed blouse and velvet booties to give the look fall/winter flare. I added a touch of gold with statement earrings and glasses to pull the look together. The small evening bag was just a fun way to add more color.
And just like that I switched it up! I love to give options for one look. This is how you make the most of your wardrobe. All I did was take the jacket off, untucked the shirt, added a pop of color with my earrings, and slipped on black suede pumps to complete the look.
